2020-21 Highlights
TWHS BFT takes 1st place at Lake Livingston! TWHS wins the first THSBA Bayou City Division Tournament of the year on October 3rd with 32.9 pounds total for top three bags. Congratulations to team Jack Northcott, Jack Shanahan and boat captain John Northcott for weighing in a five fish limit of 13.9 pounds to take first place out of 125 boat teams! Starting off strong!!
Congratulations to our TWHS BFT anglers, 1st place at Lake Conroe! Tough day of fishing on October 24th after a front, but the winning weight for schools was 30 pounds. Aidan Neely and Hank Chauffe finished 2nd place out of 119 boat teams. They landed 3 fish for a hefty 11.16 pounds!
TWHS BFT keeps the streak going at Lake Somerville! TWHS wins again on November 21st in the THSBA Bayou City Division. Congratulations to team Aidan Neely and Hank Chauffe for weighing in a team record of 19.23 pounds to take first place. Jack Northcott and Jack Shanahan followed up with a strong five fish limit of 18.28 pounds, marking a first for the Highlander offshore program of taking 1st and 2nd place teams!
TWHS wins at Sam Rayburn with a team record of 51.69 pounds! Team THSBA bag record caught by Elliott Oefinger & Keaton Rue of 21.70 pounds in their first place finish on February 27th! Followed up with a second place finish by Aidan Neely and Hank Chauffe of 18.99 lbs. Hank and Elliott took first and second place Big Bass with 7.6 and 7.3 pounds.
