The Woodlands High School Bass Fishing Team was formed in 2013 with approximately 35 anglers in grades 9-12. In the past 11 years our club has grown to include over 100 anglers from grades 7-12 and includes all skill levels. We hold monthly “inshore” tournaments at area ponds and we participate in the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) Conference for “offshore” boat tournaments in the Bayou Division.
Each year we ask businesses such as yours to consider sponsoring our team. Sponsor donations allow us to offer more opportunities for our anglers, develop their skills, increase the visibility of our club in the community, and provide scholarships to deserving college-bound seniors. This past year’s program included an expansion in the club’s community service and outreach efforts. Our TWHS angler’s volunteered and supported multiple community events, including Commissioner Noack’s Toys for Tots, The Woodlands Township Kid-Fish, The Woodlands Church Fishing derby and more. Our annual “Support an Angler” fundraiser provided 3 guided fishing trips through Texas Boys Outdoors for deserving veterans and children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in a quality outdoor experience.
As part of our appreciation for your support, we display your company logo on multiple spirit wear items including team t-shirts and jerseys. Anglers wear their t-shirts all the time and our offshore anglers wear their jerseys at all boat tournament events and to school prior to tournament days. In addition, we proudly display our sponsor’s logos at all tournaments and on our website. As listed in our Sponsorship Levels outline, the greater your level of support, the greater the exposure and visibility you and your business will enjoy at all events and on our spirit gear.
