Click HERE for TWHS Bass Fishing Team Inshore Tournament Rules
Inshore tournaments and season point standings are team events. Two anglers make up a team. A two-angler team will fish the tournaments to qualify for prizes and to earn season points toward the championship. If you change partners during the season, the new two-angler team will start with zero points. If your partner moves away or leaves our club, then you can discuss that situation with Coach Burns. You can fish solo if you don't want to have a partner. If your partner is not available for the tournament, you can fish solo for your team.
If neither angler is available for a tournament, the team will receive 20 points less than the last place team at the tournament. This will still keep them in the race for the championship.
If only one angler of a team is available to fish in a given tournament, the points that this angler earns at the tournament will apply to the team as a whole. So, even though their partner did not fish, the team keeps any points earned. If the angler does so well fishing solo that they place in the top 3, that angler (not the partner who didn't fish) will win a trophy and a gift card. To be clear, the non-fishing angler will not receive any trophies or prizes.
